Practicalities Nativity Journey 14-19 December 2022
We look forward to welcoming you to Wintershall for the Nativity Journey and we hope that you really enjoy the performance. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate please do not attend this event.
The Nativity play takes place outside and then inside Holly Barn, therefore please dress appropriately for winter or wet weather with stout shoes or boots.
There is free parking, Holly Barn is a 10 minute steep walk from the car park. If you will need assistance, please contact us on 01483 892 167 and we can book parking for you next to the Barn Theatre. This MUST be pre-booked in advance and those parking there will miss the first scene of the play. If you are attending the 2nd performance on any of the days, please arrive half an hour before, this allows time for the traffic from the 1st performance to depart. Please note that pushchairs are not allowed inside the Barn and it is advisable to use a baby carrier rather than a pushchair due to the steep walk to the Barn and the potentially muddy conditions outside.
After the start of the play outside, you move inside and are seated in the theatre on plain wooden benches, you may wish to bring a cushion. Each performance lasts approximately 90 minutes. Please note that mobile phones must be switched off during the performance and we do not allow photography or filming of the Play in consideration of the animals. Please note that smoke and pyrotechnics are used during the performance of the Play.
Hot drinks and cake are available on the 17th, 18th and 19th near the car park. Programmes will not be on sale this year and we will not have a Wintershall shop but merchandise can be ordered over the phone before the play and posted to you, please call 01483 892167.
