Wintershall urgently needs your help!

Help us to keep bringing the Bible story to life

Wintershall CIO has a serious and urgent funding challenge. Wintershall offers joy, comfort and support by bringing the Bible story to life through our plays that have reached perhaps millions of people over the years. In the past 18 months 35,000 schoolchildren have been reached by our Education programme. These plays maybe the only Gospel some people will ever hear.

We want to continue the Passion of Jesus play in London on Good Friday, which we have performed for free since 2010 and which thousands of people watch every year. We are also passionate about continuing the Life of Christ and the Nativity plays at Wintershall and supporting schools with retreats, workshops, free assembly visits and bursary funding for transport.

But we face an urgent challenge. We need £50,000 by Christmas to commit to performing the Passion of Jesus in Trafalgar Square in 2025. If we cannot reach this target by then, we will not be able to go ahead next year.  

And to secure the future of the Charity’s core work going forward, including the Life of Christ, the Nativity, and our education outreach, we will need an additional £50,000 a year.

In short, the future of Wintershall events will only be possible with the generosity of people like you.

We will be performing the Nativity Journey this year (we are in the mainstream press with features in Country Living and FT coming up).
