Discover the wonder of Jesus' life with an unforgettable event for all the family. The Life of Christ is a play like no other, placing you in the middle of an immersive theatre experience.

Join over a hundred actors in the stunning grounds of Wintershall Estate as this magnificent story is movingly recreated with authentic detail in an epic open-air production.

Watch the Wedding in Cana, the Feeding of the 5000 and the Last Supper unfold before your eyes. 

It's the perfect day out for families, faith groups, theatre lovers and schools.

What ages will enjoy The Life of Christ?

Our play is suitable for all ages, which makes it the perfect family day out. Due to the nature of some scenes, we recommend parental guidance for those under 5 years old. 

Are there discounted ticket prices? 

Yes – book a family ticket and save £10. Or get 1 free adult ticket for every 10 child tickets booked.

Is it traditional theatre?

It’s so much more! There are parts that feel like traditional theatre, but it’s also an immersive, interactive experience where you’ll very much feel part of the production. That’s what makes it so special and it includes sheep, horses and a donkey.

What should I bring?

The play is open air and unfolds across the day. Therefore, we advise bringing a lunch and picnic blanket or folding chair so you can enjoy our glorious grounds!

What time does it start and finish?

All performances unfold across three captivating acts from 10am to 3.30pm.

Is there onsite parking?

Yes there is free parking onsite for cars, minibuses and coaches.

I am booking for a school or large group - what do I need to know? 

Please be aware that school bookings and groups over 30 people will require a deposit of 25%, with the balance payable 4 weeks prior to the performance date. Please email admin@wintershall.org.uk to book.
