Frequently Asked Questions
What ages will enjoy The Nativity Journey?
Our play is suitable for all ages, which makes it the perfect family Christmas event. Due to the realistic nature of some scenes, we recommend parental guidance for those under 5 years old.
Are there discounted ticket prices?
Yes – book a family ticket and save 20% on the price of individual tickets.
Is it traditional theatre?
It’s so much more! There are parts that feel like traditional theatre, but it’s also an immersive, interactive experience where you’ll very much feel part of the production. That’s what makes it so special.
What should I wear?
Some scenes are performed outside Holly Barn Theatre and the weather can be unpredictable so it is best to wear something warm. Your visit includes a 10 minute walk up a steep hill so we advise wearing shoes that can handle a bit of mud just in case!
What time does it start and finish?
Afternoon performances begin at 14:00 and end at 15:30. Evening performances begin at 17:00 and end at 18:30. Each performance lasts approximately 90 minutes. We recommend you arrive with plenty of time before the performance begins.
Is there onsite parking?
Yes there is free parking onsite. There is also limited disabled parking available for those who need it most next to Holly Barn Theatre but those parking there will miss the first scene. This must be pre-booked by emailing admin@wintershall.org.uk.
